AMOR Charity Organization
AMOR Charity Organization is a community–centered initiative dedicated to supporting children with disabilities, particularly those aged 2 to 18 years, in Kisumu County, Kenya.
The organization was founded with the core belief that disability is not inability and that every child, regardless of their physical or intellectual challenges, deserves equal opportunities for healthcare, education, and social inclusion.
Our work is deeply rooted in promoting social inclusion for the less privileged and persons with disabilities through targeted interventions that address their most pressing needs. We focus on ensuring that children living with disabilities—especially those affected by cerebral palsy and other mobility impairments—receive proper medical care, access to assistive devices, and inclusive education while also empowering their caregivers with essential skills and eco

We aim to achieve inclusivity by empowering persons with disabilities to access good health care, education, and vocational skills and capacity-building activities.
Geographical Scope
AMOR Charity Organization operates within Kisumu East Constituency, specifically in the Kajulu West, Konya, and Wathorego areas. These regions have a high number of children with disabilities who face significant barriers to healthcare, education, and social participation. Our work extends to ensuring that these children receive therapy services in public facilities such as:
- Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital (JOOTRH)
- Kisumu County Referral Hospital
- Gita Sub–County Hospital
Our head office is located in Mlimani Estate, opposite the county board office, on the ground floor of the Katuri building. It serves as a coordination hub for programs and outreach activities in P.O BOX 832-40100 Kisumu. Kenya.
